Alexis Moussine-Pouchkine
Alexis Moussine-Pouchkine is a Java Developer Advocate working at Oracle in the GlassFish engineering team. Alexis speaks at various international conferences such as JavaOne, Devoxx, and spends quality time with customers, software architects, and developers at Java User Groups (JUGs) to better help drive the evolution of the Java platform. Alexis is also the community manager for the GlassFish open source project.

Java EE 6 tutorial

Take a deep breath at Java EE 6. In this session, Antonio Goncalves and Alexis Moussine-Pouchkine will present the Java EE 6 plateform with slides, code, and demos by developping a Java EE 6 application with open-source application servers (GlassFish and JBoss). Java EE 7 - flying above the cloud, a status on ongoing work

Java EE 7 has "The Cloud" as its main theme (multi-tenancy, elasticity, and other buzzwords) along with a number of additional related topics : HTML5/WebSocket and NoSQL support, enhancements to existing technologies (JAX-RS, JPA, JMS, ...). This session will present the direction for the platform and provide a status of where the various efforts stand.
